Cela m&rsquo;\u00e9tonne toujours que beaucoup de gens pensent que le fait d&rsquo;entendre deux langues d\u00e8s le plus jeune \u00e2ge ralentit le processus global de d\u00e9veloppement du langage. Permettez-moi de vous assurer que c'est faux. Les enfants qui grandissent bilingues et qui entendent donc deux langues ou plusieurs langues d\u00e8s leur plus jeune \u00e2ge d\u00e9veloppent au moins une de leurs langues \u00e0 des niveaux auxquels vous vous attendez \u00e0 leur \u00e2ge. Il n&rsquo;y a pas de retard linguistique global chez les jeunes enfants bilingues. Toutefois, vous devriez vous inqui\u00e9ter si votre enfant ne prononce pas de mots dans une langue au moment o\u00f9 il a un an et demi, ou s&rsquo;il n&rsquo;encha\u00eene pas des mots en petites phrases dans n&rsquo;importe quelle langue peu apr\u00e8s le second anniversaire. The book focuses on learning and maintaining Latvian as a heritage language in multilingual families outside Latvia and is the first on this topic published by a Latvian author in Latvia. It is aimed at Latvian parents worldwide, as well as language teachers and students in Latvia. The author has documented the language development of her trilingual children for ten years. Therefore, the scientific insights on early bilingualism, which had not been extensively described in Latvian before, are richly supplemented with examples from her children&rsquo;s language use in everyday communication. The book also includes observations from other Latvian parents living in different countries, focusing on both the development of the Latvian language in their children and their personal feelings about language-related topics. It offers suggestions for parents on supporting their child's acquisition of the Latvian language and maintaining their own motivation: the Latvian parent is often the only person the child hears speaking Latvian on a daily basis. Dr. Sindi also demonstrates that maintaining a heritage language can be a creative and inspiring process, bringing joy and satisfaction to parents and children alike. The third part of the book includes four interviews on the topics of bilingualism and Latvian as a heritage language. Sie leben interkulturelle Zusammenarbeit und ein offenes Miteinander vor und stellen gleichzeitig eine Br\u00fccke zwischen Bildungsinstitution und Familien dar.<\/p>\n<p>Die bisherigen Erfahrungen haben gezeigt, dass sich durch die Rucksack KiTa Gruppen die Kommunikation zwischen Kita und Eltern verbessert, sich die Eltern mehr f\u00fcr das Kita-Leben interessieren und sich st\u00e4rker engagieren.
